Ferrero Rocher Motion Package & Brief

Role

Motion Designer

Industry

Advertising

Duration

2 months

For this conceptual college project, I created a full motion design package for a fictional Ferrero Rocher® Baking Workshop Series. The goal was to design an immersive visual experience that would promote the event while staying true to Ferrero Rocher’s brand identity of luxury, indulgence, and warmth.

Project Overview

The workshops were imagined as pop-up events in multiple cities, offering both family-friendly and adult-only sessions. Each one was designed to be a fun, interactive way to showcase Ferrero Rocher® as a versatile premium ingredient in baking.

I started by analyzing Ferrero Rocher’s existing brand guidelines, sticking closely to their signature gold and chocolate tones while introducing subtle accent colors to support the visual storytelling. Typography choices followed Ferrero’s official fonts, Merriweather and Rubik, to maintain a cohesive and premium brand feel.

Motion Design Approach

My goal was to mirror the smooth, rich quality of chocolate through animation. I created seamless transitions, soft reveals, and flowing movements to enhance the sense of elegance and indulgence. Every animation element was crafted to feel luxurious yet welcoming, matching the tone of voice: luxurious, indulgent, approachable.

The final motion package included:

  • Animated logo transitions

  • Lower thirds and title cards

  • Event intro sequence

  • Sample transitions for page and section movement

I compiled all elements into a flipbook-style presentation and created a sample video demonstrating how these motion graphics would come together in a real promotional setting.
